Christina is the kind of person that you just want to be around.
As the creator of the Living Quirky, a blog + community with resources for discovering and celebrating what makes each of us extraordinary, she encourages others to embrace their own unique qualities.
For Christina, it took hitting rock bottom to make her start pay attention to her health and wellness.
After spending a few months on the road touring with her rock band, she got back home and totally crashed. She found out she had Hashimoto’s thyroiditis, and autoimmune disease where your body attacks the thyroid gland. Since this experience, she has been trying to figure out what works for her (health-wise, food-wise, life-wise!) and has done a pretty great job of figuring out how to give her body what it needs!
She is a big proponent of experimenting and finding what works for you and I couldn’t agree more with her.
Oh and I love her idea for a healthy/quick/nourishing breakfast: Sauerkraut + Avocado + Freshly Ground Flaxseed. Yum.
